What happens after I pay?
The honest, unglamorous truth: the moment your card clears, a press wakes up. Here’s the whole journey.
Your project enters the press
Your submission becomes a project in our production system, every choice you made recorded exactly as you made it. You get a confirmation email with your order and your total. Work is already queued.
The book takes shape
Your manuscript is normalized — quotes, dashes, chapters, front matter, all made consistent without changing a word you wrote. Then the interior is typeset to bookstore standards for your chosen trim size, and your cover is designed in the style you picked, with the spine width computed from your exact page count.
Everything gets checked
Dimensions, margins, print resolution, barcode zone, page-count math — verified against Amazon’s printing specs. And here’s a promise most shops won’t put in writing: if anything looks wrong, the press stops and a human looks. We’d rather be right than merely fast.
Your package arrives
Print-ready interior, cover file, and a step-by-step upload walkthrough written for your book — your trim size, your categories, your choices, in order, with screenshots of what Amazon will ask.
You publish
You upload to Amazon KDP under your own free account, following the walkthrough. Your account, your rights, your royalties — we never hold any of it. Amazon’s review typically takes up to 72 hours, and then your book is live, orderable, and yours.
